Overview
As a Procurement Executive, we seek individuals with experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing procurement processes to ensure the cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services. The ideal candidate should hold a BSc in Agriculture and have experience with import/export activities.
Responsibilities
Quality and Supplier Management:
- Check the quality of imported fruits and align stock as per requirements.
- Develop new suppliers and initiate business partnerships.
- Monitor material supply according to purchase orders, including quantity, quality, and necessary documentation.
Procurement Operations:
- Create purchase orders and follow up for Goods Receipt Note (GRN) and payment activities.
- Manage all import/export-related activities and necessary paperwork.
- Track and report key metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity in specifications and expectations.
- Analyze data to anticipate and manage unfavorable events.
- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
- Proven working experience as a Procurement Officer.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
- Talent in negotiations and networking.
- Good knowledge of suppliers.
- Aptitude for decision-making and working with numbers.
- Experience in data collection and analysis.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
