You will be responsible for appointing distributors, managing orders and payments, staying informed about market trends, and directly engaging with farmers to drive sales.
Overview
As a Sales Manager, we seek individuals with a strong sales background to generate leads, manage client relationships, and close deals. You should have experience in sales, preferably within the agricultural sector, and be ready to work in rural areas, traveling as needed to meet sales targets. The ideal candidate should be a graduate with over 2 years of experience in a sales role.
Responsibilities
- Appoint Cattle Feed Distributors within the designated area
- Bill orders to distributors and follow up on payments
- Stay informed about competitors' ongoing schemes and margins
- Direct selling to farmers wherever possible
- Maintain and report daily sales figures to the Territory Sales Officer and distributor
Requirement & Skills
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the agricultural sector
- Ability to travel extensively and work in rural areas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client relationships
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate sales records and reports
- A degree in any field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve sales targets
