As a Technical Manager – Cattle Feed, you will play a key role in formulating high-quality cattle feed, ensuring quality control, and providing technical support to farmers and distributors. This role requires expertise in animal nutrition, feed technology, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with feed mills, suppliers, and dairy farmers to optimize feed efficiency, enhance milk production, and drive business growth.

You will oversee feed formulation, quality assurance, mill operations, and team training, while working closely with stakeholders to drive innovation and efficiency in our dairy nutrition solutions.
Responsibilities
Feed Formulation & Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement nutritionally balanced cattle feed formulations.
- Ensure quality control in production to meet industry standards.
Raw Material Sourcing & Procurement:
- Identify, source, and procure high-quality raw materials at optimal pricing.
- Evaluate raw material quality, nutritional value, and suitability.
Feed Mill Operations:
- Oversee feed mill production planning, quality control, and maintenance.
- Optimize feed processing, storage, and handling to maintain product integrity.
Nutritional Research & Development:
- Stay updated with latest industry trends and nutritional advancements.
- Implement innovative feed solutions to enhance cattle health and farm performance.
Customer Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical assistance to farmers and distributors on cattle nutrition and feed.
- Address customer concerns and offer practical feeding solutions.
Regulatory Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure strict adherence to industry regulations and gal standards.
- Maintain compliance with government feed safety and quality guidelines.
Team Management & Training:
- Lead and mentor a team of technical staff, ensuring their professional development.
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams and external stakeholders.
Requirements & Skills
Technical Expertise:
- Animal Nutrition: Deep understanding of nutritional requirements, feed formulation, and cattle diet management.
- Feed Technology: Expertise in feed processing, storage, and handling techniques.
- Raw Material Evaluation: Ability to analyze, source, and assess raw material quality.
- Feed Mill Operations: Knowledge of production planning, quality assurance, and operational best practices.
Soft Skills:
- Strong Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to farmers, distributors, and internal teams.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Degree in Animal Science, Nutrition, or related field.
- Experience: 2-7 years in the cattle feed industry, focusing on technical management, formulation, and customer support.
